Multi-talented actress, singer, spokesperson, host and voice over artist, Amy Ulrich has worn many hats over the years. And having been raised primarily in the heart of Hollywood, CA, she saw first hand what it takes to make it in the entertainment industry. Time, dedication, talent and patience.
Amy was never satisfied with the status quo and knew there was more out there to experience than the beauty of Southern California. Over the years, she has called Los Angeles, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Indianapolis, Boston and Washington DC Metro her home. She has now settled back in LA and is excited to be back in the heart of the entertainment world once again, having gained invaluable experiences and learned so very much from all types of people and all walks of life. She has grown as a human being, yes. As an actress, such experiences have been priceless.
As a young girl, she loved putting on shows for her friends and family. That fascination with performing blossomed into taking voice lessons for over twelve years and starring in plays and musicals while in high school. While in college, she sang the National Anthem at the LA Tennis Open three years in a row and created her own television show on Indianapolis's local public broadcasting tv station, incorporating the older films of the 30s, 40s and 50s that seem too often forgotten, another passion of hers"classic cinema".
In addition to performing, she was able to explore her creativity in a way other than in front of the camera or on stage, by receiving her professional chef's degree from The Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. After working for a while as a chef, she decided to go back to performing and give it her all. However, she hasn't forgotten her culinary roots and is the author of All 'Round the Table, a foodie blog that touches upon all things food, from taste to culture.
Since her culinary days, Amy been quite busy. She played supporting roles in a number of short films, the film "Inconveniente", and was one of the leads in the independent film "The Joneses", which was featured at the Boston International Film Festival in 2011. Her theatrical credits include "It's a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play" at the Cornerstone Theater in Pasadena, CA, which allowed her to explore her versatility, playing three different characters. As a commercial actress, she has been featured in ads for Selsun Blue, the Investigation Discovery Channel and Ocean City, MD. As a spokesperson, host and actress, she has also represented such clients as Redplum (Valassis, Inc.), The United States Postal Service, iRobot Roomba, Orkin Pest Control and Geico. Proud also to be a print model, she was on the cover of Woman's World Magazine in 2009.
Amy welcomed her baby girl, Charlotte, into the world in November of 2009, and now that her little lady is enjoying preschool, Amy is thrilled to be back in LA, performing once again.
A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Amy is represented by commercial/print agency Brand Model and Talent, Katrina Attaman: 714-850-1158. She looks forward to being a part of your next project! |
