Jake is a Magna Cum Laude Honors Graduate of Point Park University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He has been a Pennsylvania State Trooper for over 19 years. Jake spent his first 8 years as a Patrol Trooper and the next 3 years as a Detective investigating all facets of crimes. For the last several years and currently, Jake is a Trooper First Class/Detective Fire Marshal investigating arsons/fires.
Jake has been acting for over 13 years and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. He has acted in numerous films including most recently in a principal role in the upcoming feature film, "One for the Money" in scenes alongside Katherine Heigl, and "Conviction", in scenes alongside Academy Award Winner Hilary Swank. He has also acted in a Lead role in the feature film, Lost Money, an urban drug movie where he played DEA Special Agent George Wilson, and a Principal role in the Horror feature/thriller, Staunton Hill, Directed by G. Cameron Romero, son of acclaimed horror director George Romero. He can also be seen in numerous television shows and commercials including Fox Televisions Americas Most Wanted, The National Geographic Channels Interpol Investigates, and a National Gatorade Commercial with Pittsburgh Penguin star Sidney Crosby.
