Actor Bio
Stephen Neal is a veteran South Florida actor/director. He has appeared on screen in Miami Vice, Wise Guys and several commercials. Stephen is an integral player in New Theatre's Shakespeare series and has been featured in 18 of the Bard's best roles over eight seasons, including Cassius Julius Caesar; Gloucester King Lear; Baptista Shrew; Malvolio Twelfth Night; and Prospero in this year's season opener, The Tempest. Some "Non-Bard" assignments: Tom Tom Walker; Jose Felipe Sin Full Heaven; and The Earl of Warwick Saint Joan (at New Theatre); The Stage Manager Our Town (at the Shores Theatre); George That Championship Season (at Palm Beach Dramaworks); and Ross The Goat (at GableStage). Directing favorites: Taming of the Shrew, Mikado, Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Affluenza! and Steve Martin's The Underpants. An adjunct faculty member at Florida International University, Stephen teaches acting, directing and other theatre classes to future stars of stage and screen. Stephen is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA.
