Yves Bright is a gifted and talented actor. He was born to act, but his surfing talents took precedence. Prior to becoming a member of the screen actors guild, Bright was a renowned professional surfer, competing in various contests around the world. With major sponsors such as Quicksilver and O'neill backing him, Yves traveled the globe and competed in WQS (World Qualifying Series) and also graced the many pages of both national and international surfing magazines.
Since coming off the tour, he has slowly been carving his niche into the entertainment industry. Yves has never looked back and continues to gain both experience and respect as an up and coming young talent in Hollywood. Bright's major accomplishments so far include being chosen amongst thousands of submissions as "Cosmopolitan Magazine's Hunk of the Year " for the state of California. Yves traveled with the rest of the nation's winners on the "Hunks Across America" press tour and has recently appeared on such shows as: ABC's "Good Morning America," Fox's "Good Day Live," CBS' "Living It Up with Ali & Jack," and NBC's "Access Hollywood." Although being the most recent of his achievements, the "Cosmopolitan" feature is by no means the only recognition that Yves has earned. His resume includes a wide variety of professional acting jobs such as his work on various television shows from "How I met your Mother" and "CSI", amongst many other well know shows. Bright has also had great supporting roles and leads in several films, including "Detention" directed by Joseph Kahn and "Neron" directed by Mitesh Kumar Patel. Yves continues to take on the challenge of becoming a successful actor as he would take on anything else in his life, with conviction and a strong sense of self.
