HANADI SADI has been acting since she was nine years old in Syria when she won Best Child Actress National Contest award three years in a row. She got her BA in English literature and postgraduate diploma specializing in English-Arabic translation. Then she took freelance work in translating and subtitling popular American movies and shows in addition to acting and news-reporting.
She settled in the United States in 2002 and has been pursuing her acting career ever since. Seeking to learn her tools to produce her own projects, Hanadi took part-time classes in college for about five years and crowned her efforts with an AA degree majoring in Film & Video Production from Orange Coast College in Southern California. Hanadi took part in numerous projects seeking to enrich her repertoire and satisfy her need to perform while working as a freelance certified court interpreter. In effort to refine her talents, she has constantly took classes in improvisation, Meisner technique, cold reading, audition technique, on-camera technique, and musical theater realizing that it's an everlasting task for a performer to keep training, learning, and polishing her talent. " I enjoy every moment of it because I'm always widening my horizons and exercising my greatest passion in life," says Hanadi who acquired several skills along the years among which are singing, belly dancing, volleyball, swimming, firearms, and other knacks that complement her genuine talent as an actress. Hanadi has recently moved from Orange County, California to Saratoga County, New York and is re-writing her first feature film script that she wishes to direct and star in once she finds funding. While raising two daughters aged four and two with her husband, she struggles to make time to edit her piles of documentary material she shot and completing her unfinished scripts she started on before her daughters were born. |
